Succubus Safe House - Tavern Relic 18"
Succubus Safe House
A relic dug up from Valkyrie Isle, a society known for gender ambiguity and alternative reproduction methods. From what we know society on the island was more matriarch centered based on the stylizations of their leaders. This piece was found in the ruins of a presumed tavern or moon garden as they were referred to on the island. In these moon gardens one could find the pleasures of multiple sex dieties and the goddesses that roamed the terraces were highly revered.
Scholars have linked the succubus to represent the most skilled of these goddesses as taverns displaying their symbol over the mantle tend to be located in the more wealthy districts with a higher building material quality. In all the ruins found with the succubus symbol there was an ascension portion of the moon garden littered with bones. Scholars speculate that those who defiled Valkyrie island’s code were deemed unworthy, having their soul relinquished to the goddess and leaving their physical to rot.
This piece is handcrafted as all my originals are and is made from pine wood and stainless steel chain. It comes with two sets of locally crafted beeswax candles, one in black as pictured and one in moss green.
