What is time but the spinner of cycles, a hinge to doors already opened, a catalyst to events foreseen through a deja vu like dream? The blood moon rises once more and the white horned devils take flight. A breed of dragon bred for war who’s flames are touted as liberation but most of the time hold together a cauterized nation. Seared together by the same flame that wrought destruction.  They sharpen their talons through raking of foreign lands and harden their scales with different desert sands. Their conflicts create mounds of ash but this is a delicacy to their flame ridden cores of consumption. The drums of war sound and these same drums they fill with thick black viscous liquid. The white horned devils live and breathe through the flame and what ignites more easily than oil? The scorpion drakes of the east nest on large reserves of this ignitable gold fluid  and the allure is blinding. Drawn to it like a mirage, the white horned devils come like a pseudo-seer’s omen blotting out the moon. And when the high council passes judgement to crimes against the brood they will try and preach of the poison these drakes harbor which in fact they are immune to.
